Ethical Solar Installers
The solar industry plays a critical role in the transition to a clean energy future and energy independence. Local solar energy represents a secure, equitable, and environmentally-responsible alternative to many of the practices and experiences associated with traditional energy generation.
Because solar installers represent the industry to customers and communities, Solar United Neighbors of West Virginia (SUN) and West Virginians for Energy Freedom (WV4EF) have created a Solar Installer Code of Ethics intended to protect the West Virginia solar industry, promote reputable companies, and help ensure that consumers can have confidence in their installers. The Code of Ethics contains business and professional practices consistent with ethical standards in other states and solar industry organizations.
Companies who have signed the Ethics Pledge are listed below. This does not constitute an endorsement by WV4EF and SUN.
